We know you are surprised to hear from us since we are approaching our second year in our Pietsch home. However, as you know, we have contracted several custom homes to be built for us in our moves around
this nation, and in our experience, only time and living in a home is a true measure of its quality.
We want to you know how please we are with our Pietsch home. In the past two years, we have listened to neighbors complain of flooded basements, broken pipes, creaking floors, leaking roofs, collapsed driveways, insufficient insulation above garages, and incomplete work in their new homes. But we have lived securely in our Pietsch home with none of these problems.

It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year that we have been in our house. The past year has been a blur. But with all the events that have happened in the past year fact has become clear. We made the
correct decision in having our house built by Doug Pietsch. The quality of our home is head and shoulder above every home around us. Our house may not be as big or as fancy as some, but the quality of the construction has no match.
I do not base this statement on my opinion only-it is based on the construction, finish and most important problems or needed call backs. We just haven’t had anything that has warranted a call back prior to one year. Over all – every neighbor who has visited has made unsolicited comments as to the quality of the woodwork, cabinets and over all construction. One of our neighbors has a much more expensive house was amazed at the quality he saw in our house. His house used factory joined door casements and veneer casement and base boards – rather than solid oak. Also the kitchen cabinets – ours are custom built for our house – his builder used box units. In fact, it seems when ever neighbors gather, the conversation turns to problems with their houses.
In the craziness of moving into a new house, working on the landscaping, etc., having no problems with the house seems to have gone unnoticed. And
We have failed to stop and take the time to let you know just how pleased we are with the home you have built for us. The care that was taken to detail by your crews has shown its self once again in lack of problems. I have not seen the quality of the woodwork done in any other home in the area please convey our heart felt thanks.

Building a new home is generally a trying experience, but not with Pietsch Builders, From the very first, you were clear about everything from price to schedule. When problems arose (like the underground water and the tree falling on the house at closing) you fixed them promptly and permanently. Julie ran the schedule like the pro she is, and the project moved along exactly as it was supposed to.
The house it self is a gem. Its built like a tank, and detailed like fine furniture. The craftmanship is excellent throughout. Judy and I often remark on how much we enjoy our new home.
